No — while we're based at Alfaisal University, we accept applications from medical students at any accredited Saudi university. Some projects may have institution-specific requirements that we'll mention in the listing.
For student applications: we screen profiles within 7-10 days, then forward shortlists to faculty as projects open. For faculty posting projects: we publish your listing within 48 hours of submission.
Most projects offer co-authorship and research experience rather than financial compensation. Some funded projects do offer stipends — these are clearly marked in the listing's "Compensation" field.
Absolutely. Many of our projects are remote-friendly, especially systematic reviews and data analysis work. We've matched students to faculty in Jeddah, Dammam, and Australia. Just specify "Remote" as the work mode.
Apply anyway. We weigh motivation, prior research interest, and the quality of your "why oncology" answer heavily. GPA is one of many signals, not a gatekeeper.
